Fingerpainting

Not appropriate for one year olds! You can see Ava was thrilled in this picture. She hadn't even touched her paint yet. (I think she was mad I put her in her booster without giving her food!)

Will enjoyed himself and did great!
Ava did not enjoy herself! You can see how I helped her paint some. She did not appreciate that very much...

And Adeline just ate the paint. Oops - no more fingerpainting with the babies for a while!

Something I used to do with my kids in therapy was take finger paint and put it in a ziploc bag, seal it, and tape it closed. That way the kids can draw in the paint (sort of), but not get it on their fingers. It kind of introduced them and helped them to get over the messy part.
